FEE STRUCTURE & LONG-TERM VIABILITY

Thank you all for your valuable feedback received in response to the letter from the committee in September 2024. We understand from this that you are keen for U3A to continue.

U3A only exists because of our members, presenters and the committee and we facilitate together to offer such an integral community service. We wish to let you know how much you are valued.

Based on the feedback, we are proposing to maintain our baseline annual membership fee of $50, and to discuss a modest three tier venue fee for those groups that attract venue hire.

Once again, we ask for your support to attend a Special General Meeting on Tuesday, 26 November (2 – 3pm) to discuss the outcome of your feedback, and then to vote on a proposal.

We encourage as many members as possible to attend, as our future depends on your valuable input.
