What better way to start the year than to stop and reflect and thank our many volunteers and supporters. There are four we’d like to mention in particular.
First off, we are hugely indebted to the Strathalbyn Neighbourhood Centre for facilitating many of our courses, meetings and special events. Their friendly and helpful staff never fail to oblige and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Also, for allowing us display space for our many brochures.
Secondly, the office of Adrian Pederick MP, State Member for Hammond. who since December 2024 has allowed us to print much of our promotional material at no cost. This has been an invaluable service to U3A.
Thirdly, the office staff of Rebekha Sharkie MP, Federal Member for Mayo, for so graciously allowing us to join in the recent Forum for Positive Aging at such short notice. What a great team you are.
And last, but not least, local business house, The Vault, has allowed us to display promotional material in their foyer. Yet another good way to get the message out.
