U3A Strathalbyn offers a variety of courses and leisure activities, including fitness classes, family history, languages, wine appreciation and philosophy.

Enrolments for 2026 open on 12/1/26, to coincide with our enrolment day, this year held at the Red Hen railway carriage behind the Stationmaster’s Gallery at the Strathalbyn Railway Station. There will be two sessions, 10:30 am to 12 noon, and 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Course information and spare enrolment forms will be available.

Depending on vacancies, enrolments are accepted at any time. If a course is full, you will be advised and your name placed on a waiting list. You will be contacted when there is a vacancy.
The payment of an annual membership fee of $50 entitles you to access to any of the courses and any special events listed in the program. Some courses also attract a venue fee, and a charge for materials. For further details on venue fees please refer to the enrolment form. Please note that from 2026 there will be no charge for course leaders
New Courses for 2026
U3A Strathalbyn is pleased to introduce five new courses are in the pipeline for 2026 including History Talks (discussion points on early Australian Colonial History), An Introduction to Flower Essences, Mahjong, and Spanish for Fun. Details for these courses appear on our program.
On-Line Courses
Membership of U3A Strathalbyn also gives you access to various on-line courses hosted by U3A South Australia. In 2025 available courses include Understanding Australian Politics, The Universe and Life, and The Heating Earth, looking at the science of climate change.
